Before the Atlas update which I don't think I will bother with- Formation 1, 3 and 4 are all worthless, actively hindering you Both radiation and infinity negatively impact the game (let alone shite 'infinity' scaling) 'Fast slash' buff is also an active detriment, there is nothing 'fast' about it. Extremely irritating that Conqueror resets completely every single time you fight space.
Was okay for a while, but I don't think I'd say it's good anymore at this stage [Could second infinity within probably less than a day]
-Ps, level xp requirements reduce based on rebirth points, and there's a whole radiation upgrade path that gives you more rebirth points kind of for specifically that - Rebirth points are now hard capped at 100K - you will always hardcap before you even reach that radiation upgrade, why cap it off.
I just noticed the timer for the Conquer buff is slow. Each second takes 20% longer than it should. So 1000 seconds, (or 16 minutes, 40 seconds), in reality takes 20 minutes!
If there is one relatively minor change I could get you to make, after a reset, whether Ascending, Rebirthing, leaving the Abyss, or hitting Infinity, please disable the GCNP. Nothing more frustrating than realizing you forgot to disable it and have been sitting at Stage 1 for the past 5 minutes...
The infinite leveling you unlock for the Tree after reaching Infinity is a fundamentally broken system. The high costs and low Infinite scaling for every single skill except Strength makes activating it for 95% of a run useless. Strength is the only one that is stronger with Infinite active, at least until you unlock Tier 5 Tree, where Strength's base scaling is high enough to surpass Infinite scaling. At that point it becomes worthless to activate any Infinite because, even if there were a Perk that becomes viable to activate Infinite scaling for, it's more valuable to keep the excess points for The Lord than to spend them.
And this makes the fact that every tier of Infinity lets you activate another Infinite scaling in the Tree the most worthless unlock in the entire game. If one Infinite is bordering on useless, then a second actually is useless, let alone a third or more...
You need to lower the cost for each level of Infinite for other Perks or increase their scaling. Otherwise this system is a complete waste.
yeah, i was thinking the same. i think a simple fix will be "for every infinity you get +1 tree point per level" so infinity 1 give you +2, infinity 7 give you +8
That's what I thought would happen. The first Infinity does give you 2 points per level, but the subsequent Tiers of Infinity don't increase it. Was honestly disappointed when I realized it didn't give another point...
Another Idea(how i interpreted the system first from the limited description): Upgrades persist until you infinity again. you end the ascension/rebirth with 5 levels in Wisdom? You will have those 5 levels at the start of the next run. No un-spec, maybe increasing costs? ending every run with another level in racer sounds like fun after like 50 runs
Would this be broken? Maybe.
Edit: actually, at least Strength and Racer would need hard limits and/or scaling costs on how many "Infinite levels" you coud have with this, because getting to 1000x damage and 10 APS sounds like it would break the game in half. anything else is a lot less broken
I've started playing a week or two ago and I must say, great work!
What I liked the most is that progress really feels earned and reaching a new prestige layer gives quite good powers.
I can't say what it is, but the game got me hooked pretty good.
That said, I've almost finished all content the game has to offer at the moment (trying to reach all Infinity milestones), so I'm looking forward for more.
I also have some suggestions for QoL features/changes.
Don't deactivate buffs when leaving the Abyss
Presets for buffs (put the ones you want in a list, prioritize the ones at the start for when you don't have enough active buffs available)
Ascension Shards and Rebirth Points should show a shortened number like XP does
"Buy All" Radiation Perks (maybe as an upgrade in the new Prestige Layer)
There are also some typos here and there, but it isn't a big deal. If you find some, just fix them, no biggie :D

thank you. Not sure if Im messing with my buffs ... any 3 buffs you would recommend for such boss fight ? currently Im set on combo[T3] extras life [T2] and sniper[T1]. Also just to make sure does picking a formation for boss fight makes any sense, seems cutting half of 2 stats harms more than the benefit of buff 1 ...
Well I think there are a couple of strategies for beating stage 39 boss for the first time and it's fun to work one out for yourself!
I'd say grinding rebirth points is the most beneficial as you unlock more buff slots, raise your stats and max lvl.
For a high damage, high risk, high reward based run you can choose First strike [T3], Combo and Conquer with T2 formation
For a more tank build maybe you could try Invisible [T3], Blood art [T3] and maybe Conquer as well with T1 formation
I guess T1 formation is good with the blood art buff as it heals you based on your max HP but overall I don't see many situations where T1 or T3 formation is useful.
Anyways, having any more buffs active is a nice addon. Good luck and have fun :D

i can get to level 100 in about 15 mins and i have one abyss teir but im super stuck .

rebirth until you get 1500 for formation 2.
clear abyss 2
best buff first strike, combo, conquer(25k rebirth) and traveller.
clear abyss 3
max rebirth
clear abyss 4
again, this is the way i did so your run may varies

any idea what prevents reaching stage 40 ?
always get an impossible foe at max kill/max kill zone 5/5 stage 39 that will delete my kill count on last zone
You die on the stage boss which resets your kill count on the zone

First strike doesn't work for the next fight if you die.
