for my part, i just stay on a lower stage until a level up my strength and wisdom to the max and selfheal don't stop me for more that 2 or 3 attack, but ACROBATIC kill my momentum wasted my first strike, reset my combo from 100 to 25 and take my 5 to 10 attacks to kill if i'm luck and now it's take me for hit to the next enemies.
how are you guys getting so many rebirth points? I am on T4RB going up to level 135 and only getting something like 7 points lol. Like the game so far, hopefully you intend to add some more stuff. Thanks for making the game mrend
If I remember correctly, the creator said blood art isn't supposed to work in the abyss. I think it says it somewhere in the game or the create wrote it in the comments.
I am having a hard time understanding the description of some of the buffs:
Overkill [T1]: ....100% to kill next enemy: what does this mean?
Overkill [T2 and T3]: +1 extra kill per 100/50 level: you kill additional enemy every time you kill an enemy after 50/100 or every 50 levels, you just kill 1 additional enemy? If it is the latter isn't it useless?
Sniper [T3]: Crit Chance checks doubles? does this mean crit chance doubles? what does check mean here?
Sniper [T2]: If crit higher 100% deal extra double damage? is it crit chance or crit attack?
Also the formation that halves the ATK seems very useless.
Overkill T1 adds +1 to the kill tally whenever you kill an enemy. Overkill T2 adds an extra +1 to the kill tally for every 100 max levels you have, and T3 adds +1 every 50 max levels. Its only use is to run through Stages faster to grind Ascension Shards.
Sniper T2 doubles your damage if your crit chance is over 100%. No clue what Sniper T3 does exactly though...
Update: T2 Overkill stopped working for some reason. I stopped getting bonus kills at 100 max level. T3 does work, and I'm pretty sure it stacks additively with T1 and presumably T2 if it worked. At 191 max level, I should be getting 6, 1 for the initial kill, 1 for T1, 1 from T2, 3 from T3, but am only getting 5 kills. T4 gives you XP and Weapon chance for the overkills, but also costs 10m xp, so have fun unlocking it...
Edit: Also, I was wrong about Sniper T2. It activates whenever you crit, regardless of your crit chance. And it calculates weird, as it seems to be doing less than double. It looks to actually be 1.5x.
Fun little game to forget and return to. I was confused about amulet for a little while until I realised you could scroll in Ascension and buy an amulet slot. Pretty fun game, def not one of those 'go quick' idle games and more of those 'let it run' ones. Keep up the good work! :3
I've been playing this game since about 3 days after it released & I can say without a doubt that this has a good concept but there are some slight issues I noticed like in the soul menu the buff "Blood Art" is misspelled Bloot Art & there are some areas that aren't clearly explained until you get far enough into the game to where it just clicks. 8/10
So what's the point of reaching the 39-th level? You could have at least made an endgame screen. What's the point in saying the following?
--- Why LevelUp?
I think this title will make sense when you reach 700 level or when you break the reality and open the first dimension. (It's all about future content)
When there is no such thing, no reveal, no cohesive plot or progression? Dude, it's just an assemblance of different mechanics lik Dr. Frankenstein's monster. Or if there IS sense that elluded me, please explain, because this isn't undercooked - it is straight up raw and charred.
I think you picked the wrong game for the plot or something like that. It's a simple incremental game of the kind that the internet is full of.Frankenstein?Yes, yes, that's exactly it, because I wanted to create something more than a simple clicker, but a complex mechanic, which, of course, I will refine or rework. Not everything is done in one day. "what's the point of reaching the 39-th level"- For players - nothing yet, for me: Based on users feedback, this will let me know how balanced the Abyss T3 is, because it is a transitional stage to future global content. That's why there is no point in endgame screen. Why LevelUp? This is not a scientific project, what meaning do you want from it? My main goal is feedback from players who will help me understand where and what I did wrong. Dude, you have too high expectations for a game that was released in a raw state 2 weeks ago. Don't expect anything supernatural from this game, because I'm making it purely for fun. I apologize for wasting your valuable time.
Of course, you're right. How could I have expected any semblance of a complete experience and cohesive approach?! My bad; please accept my apology. Should have known better. P.S. I played a few incremental games, and the major factor that distinguishes those from yours is that the former have at least some kind of an in-game purpose or an addictive mechanics. And my experience I can describe as tiresome and unrewarding.
From your other comments it sounds like you didnt even advance the other mechanics of the game, just give yourself a bunch of rebirth points and that's supposed to let you beat stage 4? Did you even rebirth to increase your max level? Did you do the soul abyss to increase your soul cap? Did you even get to the 20th soul? Sorry the game couldn't be beaten in an hour by cheating and that upset you, I hope noone who would actually enjoy this game passes it by because of you being a dumbass.
Sweet - name-calling :) By the way, when I say I cheated, I mean that I checked every game mechanics, and I didn't change just shards or exp. It's much more complex than that. But yeah, I did everything and even more. Still boring. Also, it was my last resort, as I usually avoid cheating, but because I didn't get far in 10 days, I needed to check if it was a time sink. Spoilers! (it was). ANd I do hope most people will pass it, and my judgment isn't harsh -- just honest. I even defended the author in prior comments, and my position didn't change - I have nothing against him, but the game is horrid.
If you mean by editing a stage #, then of course you can do it. But otherwise, by changing anything else, it didn't help me to reach 40-th stage. Like giving myself a whatever lvl, or souls, or activating all (I mean all) buffs at once.
What's the minus for? I claimed and stay on it that progression stops beyond lvl 39, nothing more to add, except that all my stats were maxed out. So what's the issue?
i don't know, on my tree strength and wisdom 80, for buff i use first attack, combo and conquer and formation bonus 2 that double attack and half defense . and go to 45 without problem.
need more talant. tier 1 talant tree 72 player lvl cap. i`m on stage 28, player lvl 100 and 28 not spended talents.
fighting system: on high levels enemy have buffs hp regen+dodge or stun. sometimes enemy can kill you and regen full hp before you rest because your dps not so high to kill it. maybe change enemy after death (like fight vs soul enemy), or some battles can be without end.
Can anyone suggest on how to best improve level cap? I am at 75/75, have 5 mil. xp and only 128 shards. What do I do? I have First punch and Sword T4, but the Punch is not working, and at stage 28 I die faster than defeat a single mob. What the heck?..
You're likely getting to the point where you will have to start grinding out ascension points. It's a little tedious but worth it to max out the tree as you can.
In the ascension Tier 1 tree the blacksmith talent is super worth it. I'd also suggest just grinding out to finish the whole thing. I think that I used to run to wave like 20 and ascend for the points I could get. Your level cap will increase as you get more souls and you'll need to max the T1 levels and some of the T2 levels to get to 100 for the first time.
First strike is great but once you get to level 20 it can be messed up by the enemies dodge curse. For now I'd say to do run to around 20-25 depending on when you stop 1 shotting people and then ascend for the points till you can get level 100 (Rebirth is weird but worth it in the long run)
I don't understand this game. It has interesting elements, but it is *PAINFULLY* slow and requires the game to be active. Yes, it does have an offline element, but it doesn't progress the way it should.
Also I'm on stage 24 atm. I need 229 kills. That is a MASSSSSSSIVE time sink. Like I get wanting people to play and be active with your game, but if it requires this much time spent, the game is fundamentally wrong. I'm at level 87/87 with no "tree" points to spend, yet I have 15 sitting there?
Why do I have more max points to use vs areas to spend them in?
The souls system lacks A LOT of clarity. Same to be said about the Amulet system. Neither of which are explained at all. You just.. Randomly get perks?
Again. The game has very interesting takes on idle games, and a solid system overall. However the pacing is abysmal. It is painfully slow and requires active playtime despite having nothing active to do to keep the player engaged. It simply requires an active window open and to afk for hours/days.... Terrible design.
Could you add a hover tooltip to the curses on the Combat screen? It's annoying having to swap to the Amulet screen every time I wanna refresh my memory on what each Curse does.
Bit of info first: Rebirth tier is increased if you rebirth while at the level cap of your current tier. (Sadly this makes enemies stronger while only providing a slight boost to your max level, which makes it quite unsatisfying to me. Essentially you're making everything harder for no real reward. It doesn't even boost the xp enemies give. Slight drop rate increase which seems to apply to equipment and souls, but... equipment is SUPER level capped and souls drop rate quickly becomes awful.)
Rebirth tier seems to function as a multiplier to how many rebirth points you get. The first rebirth offers no rebirth points (or maybe just 1? It's been a bit now).
Ascensions don't reset souls, so it's a good idea to go to higher zones if it allows you to farm up an extra souls tier if you plan on farming ascension shards. The drop rates get pretty bad though, so if it takes too long to get a higher soul tier then just begin resetting. You'll need to do it often anyway.
Over the weekend I've managed to amass 250 rebirth points by keeping this game open on the side while watching movies. And I've definitely come to the conclusion that the whole rebirth loop feels unsatisfying. It'd be a bit better if there were some form of skill tree point automation. It'd be even better if the game gave more than a pittance for rebirths. Ascension shards suffer the same fate, sadly.
On a more general note the game has issues with information. In ascension tier 2 there's an upgrade that says "Unlock Amulet[T1] Suffix", but this tells you nothing. What this actually ends up doing is increase level caps of the skill tree as well as add new skills.
When you get 25 rebirth points total you unlock "Open equipment T3 complect", what this actually means is that you now get a small set bonus for getting your equipment to tier 3. +3 min level, +3 max level. Also: please change "complect" to "set" or "equipment set". Complect is apparently a real word but its meaning does not fit, or at least none of the definitions I found fit.
Speaking of min level, it's a little bugged. Min level does NOT provide skill tree points but does count toward the level cap. So for every +min level you have you essentially lose the same amount of skill points (if you were to reach your level cap).
Buffs as a whole are alright, but they're definitely not made equal. And personally I'm not a fan of being unable to switch buffs without undergoing a reset.
First Strike feels useful from the start and massively helps with farming, but the Combo buff has me questioning what it's supposed to do. Combo gives a slight damage buff but it gets reset when you get hit, and "enemies can dodge attacks" is one of the basic curses so you'll lose that combo all the time. Even with the buff at level 3 you'll lose 50% stacks when you get hit, and 25% at level 4. Oh, and to the dev: it's supposed to be stacks, not stucks.
Coincidentally First Strike and Combo are also the only two offensive buffs I have at this time, so it's honestly quite painful for one of them to seemingly be incapable of working.
The Amulet tab unlocks at Stage 20, even though the actual amulet doesn't seem to do anything until after you buy the relevant Ascension upgrade. It's probably so you can see info on the curses, but then the first amulet tier should probably say "unlock with an ascension upgrade" or something. As for the curses, while the various tiers are listed on the Amulet page I have no idea what tier of curses an enemy has at any point. Am I still facing enemies with tier 1 curses? Or have we moved up to tier 3? Can an enemy have any tier of curse from the moment you unlock them? I have no idea.
Currently on stage 32 and making a push to stage 40 for next level of ascension upgrades but I doubt I'll get there. Zone kill requirements get ridiculous way too fast, as do enemies' stats. Honestly the game feels needlessly stingy with giving players growth options or rewards, it's to the point where I'm tempted to edit my save and just multiply my rebirth points by 10. A full weekend of resets shouldn't feel worthless, but in this case it largely does.
I JUST remembered another point that irks me: you can't go back a zone. You can only pause your progress.
The most efficient thing to do for XP/levels seems to be staying at a zone where you can oneshot the enemy, so if you accidentally go too high then you're suddenly wasting tons of time.
I agree, the balance is very broken. got to T10 rebirth but I have no way to get to t2 abyss nor stage 40 for t3 ascension.
I got to 250 rebirth points and it just wasn't worth it never mind getting another 250 points for a seemingly useless buff. I need more damage not an extra life...
"name":"Extra life","description":["20% to RISE UP after death with 50% HP","+50% DMG and 25% DEF after rising for 8 seconds","After rising become immune to any damage for 4 seconds","Max Tier"]
So I can get +50% dmg after I die first and there's an 80% chance it won't work... very useless.
After cheating to get 2000 rebirth points:
750pts level scales better seems to mean progress? I can't tell but it's still not the damage I need.
1250 rebirth pts multi based on rebirth tier seemed to double my point gain at T10 but that is still trash when you give so little and need so much to make progress.
1500 formation T2. Finally! now I can double my damage... but I'm a glass cannon...
2000 amulet T3. this was probably a bad idea because of the +1 curse but I see the buff +1 requires stage 40 completion, which means I was supposed to rebirth hundreds of times to get to 2000 points before pushing to stage 40?!
Alright, I'll play some more to see how far I can get now...
Edit: I got further but still couldn't get to stage 30/40. I cheated to get souls, buffs (max level and change active ones), and EXP.
After a day of playing, I must say that I love the experience.
It definitely is very slow and grindy, but I've been looking for exactly such a game. Helps that there is very little micromanagement required and one can let it run for hours with no intervention.
Some nitpicking:
- The rebirth tooltip could use some clarification in regards to points and how they're gained. I understand that the first rebirth helps even without giving any points (+10 level cap and better enemy rewards), but I have no clue when I will actually get rebirth points (currently assuming on the next rebirth at level 110).
- I am not sure the exp bonus on killing cursed (especially multiple cursed) enemies works as described. I am only seeing a very minor increase in their exp value compared to uncursed ones.
- A clarification on exactly when shards are dropped would be nice. I am seeing shards on most stage completions (after 10(?)), but it seems like stage 15 never gives anything. I also remember souls dropping shards, but that seems to have disappeared or gotten rarer after the first rebirth.
edit: For anyone wondering, I've since noticed that starting level 101 rebirthing gives you points.
Pushing through to Stage 25 is becoming impossible because my progress keeps resetting in Stage 21. I'll finish a Zone and it'll just restart the same Zone instead of going to the next one. I've watched it complete Zone 3/5 six times in a row, and when it finally changed to 4/5 it started happening again!
I had a similar problem. After a while I managed to pinpoint the problem: when losing focus for some seconds, it triggers the AFK system. If the time is not enough to advance a zone, it resets the zone count. Which is a problem, since idle games are meant to be played on the background.
It doesn't seem to be a bug but rather a feature. First rebirth gives you stronger enemies that give more exp and bigger chance for dropping a piece of equipment. It also raises max lvl you can rebirth on. That's where I am now when it comes to progress but I think it is meant to be like that. I.e. 15 rebirth points unlocks T5 equipment which I believe is strong so these points must be hard to obtain
This game has a lot of potential. I think that there are a lot of bugs that need to be worked out as well.
I've noticed that if you redistribute your points when you're maxed out in levels and have extra exp your level will sometimes go above your max I.E 100/99. This does not count for rebirth level 100 but is visual and can be a little confusing.
I also think that having to choose between a rebirth or ascension is a little frustrating. If I've left it on over night I'd like to get those ascension points and not have to push to 100 again. Rebirth should still give you the "After ascension" points in my opinion.
Like a lot of people have mentioned there is a lot of spelling errors, this doesn't bug me as much since it's brand new but working to fix this would be a goal.
The last thing would be the lack of information. No idea about how to get to Tier 2 unless I read the comments. The amulet unlocking via stage but being blank till you buy the ascension was confusing.
Keep up the good work though! Excited to keep playing and see where it goes.
this is just bad on every level. 4 days and ive barely progressed at all, every reset feels completely pointless, half the tooltips use archiac words nobody has used in generations and are worded like skwisgaar skwigelf wrote them, and the fact that you cant GO BACK fucking ruin every run. on top of that, its pointless to force me to redistribute my stat points EVERY TIME just make them fucking be permanent.
i dont know if theres any automation here for the stats, but if there is that shit needs to open up IMMEDIATELY. it is not fun to just hit "max" on the same fucking buttons over and over. it is not fun to feel like there is no progression because you need to kill thousands of enemies to get to the next area. and its damn sure not fun to "ascend" for some pointless fucking shards that themselves do not increase stats, nor is it fun to reset for "potential" when said "potential" can ONLY be obtained at certain specific break points. EVERY rebirth should contribute to your stat increases, instead almost every rebirth is fucking useless.
Yeah it's pretty much a grinding sim, and no one wants to do day's of grinding just for a little bit extra damage or a few more max levels. Surprised this comment's been downvoted
Good point, but I still think you are a bit lacking in decorum. I mean, it is ok to go softer with the first impression to be better understood and heard. It won't cost either of us too much, right? But I agree that the author is mostly ignoring the responses, so I get it. As it was once said, hating on somebody is like drinking poison and hoping for them to fall ill, and I genuinely don't wish to see that occurring, friend.
theres no reason for me to go soft and sugar coat it. everything thats here is extremely basic, and very poorly done. to the extent that i assume its either done with AI, or this guy dosent even play incremental games. enemies get random powerup buffs that require you to go to another screen to see what they do, except their buffs use tiny images instead of the words said other screen uses. all of the prestige mechanics have had little to no thought put into them aside from "make the player reset constantly". the "souls" mechanic is fucking terrible, in case you havent reached level 20 in souls yet i wont spoil it, but its painfully bad.
going soft is what encourages this guy to keep on the path hes on. he needs to know that hes got a shit game, and why its shit. does it have potential? maybe? about as much as any bare bones basic ass starter idle game, but its hard to really say when everything is so poorly paced and thought out. i go from ripping through stages to all of a sudden having to kill 50+ enemies to get to the next stage, while their stats seem to double or triple at some random break point while mine remain linear and trash. unlocking extra tiers of skills dosent unlock the extra skill points you need to fill them, and getting said skill points requires you to manually stop progressing before the enemies become literally unkillable from the forced auto progression. i could go on and on about how fucking bad this is, and could fill maybe 3 sentences about whats good. why bother mentioning the tiny aspects?
Sure, I see the validity of your opinion. But as strange as it may sound, if a person perceives something as an insult or an attack, it is very unlikely that they will accept said expression and learn from it. There is a high chance that you simply are spreading irritation in the world. I mean, while the former generations acted without care for the others, maybe it's we who should lead by example. That's my view.
Yeah that much is clear given how my comment got received, upvote from me and one possibly from you, then 2 downvotes from other people who think that this stuff is fun. Hell there's another game that's sorta like this, but you only control a small amount of things, RNG Quest is really damn good despite being a "Do these settings and let the game play itself." game
What does the Amulet tab do? I see descriptions of the buffs some enemies have, but nothing else helpful. Do I need to unlock the amulet slot for something?
Amulets give some buffs along the time, max levels, buff slot, better tree tier(max skill points and new traits), Curses buff the enemys but grant you more XP per curse your foes has
For those looking for help to progress, here are some tips:
I’ve seen some people complaining about low XP gain, and others about the high number of kills required to move to the next stage. Both of these issues can be solved with upgrades, better gear, ascension, and rebirth. (I’ve made some progress myself — I can reach level 100 fairly quickly, and on stage 25 I only need 100 kills to advance. I don’t remember the original number, but I think it was over 2000.)
I recommend locking your stage at one where you can one-shot the mobs. It’s a good idea to spend time farming XP in a stage where you can one-hit enemies, then occasionally push forward to unlock new features (e.g., Stage 25 unlocks Ascension Tier 2).
Most of the time, you’ll want to stay where you can one-shot enemies — it’s much more efficient for XP farming. Only move forward once you’re at a good level, and when progress starts slowing down after advancing stages, that’s a good time to do an ascension(Rebirth is more a level thing).
Here are some things I recommend getting as early as possible:
First Strike(Ascension Tier 1, costs 50 Shards): Your first hit against each enemy deals double damage. Great for speeding up progress and also helps you one-shot on higher stage enemies = more XP.
Blacksmithing Experience(Ascension Tier 1, costs 65 Shards): Increases XP gain based on your equipment tier.
Sword T4(Ascension Tier 1, costs 40 Shards): Boosts your damage and maxlevel (and XP if you’ve unlocked Blacksmithing Experience).
Ring Slot(Ascension Tier 1, costs 150 Shards): The ring itself already gives an XP bonus, and when combined with Blacksmithing Experience, it’s a massive boost. Since all equipment comes at max level, it’s also great for rebirths.
Ou, nice. It's glad to me that people try some strategy. Just a lillte tips: The Next tier unlocks you new perks and some perks will have increased max level(20 -> 40 ...)
How long should you wait until going to the next stage? Cause it's pretty hard to not go to the next stage even though the kills needed rises big time.
Fun. You've got a great start to a very nice game. I'm not too far in yet, but I like it so far. My only issue so far is that the kill counts needed to progress to the next stage feel like they ramp up far too fast. It feels like getting to level 100 is going to take 3 or 4 days at the rate its going. I know it's an idle game, but it's still nice to see something happening.
Great game, can't wait for updates! ( I'm not very far into it yet, but more content is always welcome😄)
One small issue though: the log tab on the right could use some tweaking. It always stays fixed at the top of the list, while new logs are added to the bottom. It's a bit annoying and unnecessary to have to scroll down every time I switch tabs.

Hey cool game, the cheater claims its impossible to get to stage 40, but I managed it, let's see how far it's possible to push!
Lie.
Why would it be a lie?
Edit: Ah you are the cheater, a shame you cannot do with cheating, what others can do without :D
In this case it must have been fixed. My accusation was unfair; excuse me.
According to the little "more information" thing right above the comments, the game hasn't had an update yet.
No idea why it worked for him and not for me. Not interested too.
dear developer
please adjust Acrobatic curse either half it or put it at a later abyss tear.
100% agree. It's the only curse that feels unfair.
I think the self healing is much worse, it's the only one where u can wall during afk, the others are just slower
for my part, i just stay on a lower stage until a level up my strength and wisdom to the max and selfheal don't stop me for more that 2 or 3 attack, but ACROBATIC kill my momentum wasted my first strike, reset my combo from 100 to 25 and take my 5 to 10 attacks to kill if i'm luck and now it's take me for hit to the next enemies.
Acrobatic doesn't kill my first strike, the damage remains the same until it actually hits
Acrobatic do kill your fist strike. but on the new update the reduce the dodge by half so is less noticeable.
how are you guys getting so many rebirth points? I am on T4RB going up to level 135 and only getting something like 7 points lol. Like the game so far, hopefully you intend to add some more stuff. Thanks for making the game mrend
A loooot of rebirths pretty much as soon as possible, while just watching a show in the meantime.
It's... a pain...
bug report: it constantly resets zone 5/5 of stage 39 and do not let me proceed to stage 40.
most likely is that you can beat the boss at the end of the level. that why the reset.
why do my blood art buff not work on abyss? o better question how to kill abyss boss at level 19?
If I remember correctly, the creator said blood art isn't supposed to work in the abyss. I think it says it somewhere in the game or the create wrote it in the comments.
but blood art now work on the abyss, but was weird that the first 5 time that i fight the boss i didn't recover hp.
I am having a hard time understanding the description of some of the buffs:
Also the formation that halves the ATK seems very useless.
Overkill T1 adds +1 to the kill tally whenever you kill an enemy. Overkill T2 adds an extra +1 to the kill tally for every 100 max levels you have, and T3 adds +1 every 50 max levels. Its only use is to run through Stages faster to grind Ascension Shards.
Sniper T2 doubles your damage if your crit chance is over 100%. No clue what Sniper T3 does exactly though...
Thank you!
It looks to actually be 1.5x.
check double means that if the chance fails once, it will check again. So if you fail to crit once, it will try one more time to roll crit chance
I don't think there is a single situation where I would use Formation[T1]. Double HP at the cost of halved ATK and DEF is completely worthless.
Fun little game to forget and return to. I was confused about amulet for a little while until I realised you could scroll in Ascension and buy an amulet slot. Pretty fun game, def not one of those 'go quick' idle games and more of those 'let it run' ones. Keep up the good work! :3

womp womp. I've been playing the game day in & day out for a couple days & this game scratches an itch I didn't know I had for idle games
Sweet - name-calling :)
By the way, when I say I cheated, I mean that I checked every game mechanics, and I didn't change just shards or exp.
I even defended the author in prior comments, and my position didn't change - I have nothing against him, but the game is horrid.
how did you cheat? i cheat and can get to 45 without problem?
If you mean by editing a stage #, then of course you can do it. But otherwise, by changing anything else, it didn't help me to reach 40-th stage. Like giving myself a whatever lvl, or souls, or activating all (I mean all) buffs at once.
not not, i edit buff and rebirth points. but finish abyss was just impossible legally level 30 boss event a plus ultra strength.
Yes its tooo slow and it makes it boring over time...
Finally got past Stage 21 and Stage 22 completed in a tenth of the time. There is definitely some bug with Stage 21 that causes progress to reset.
I had a similar problem. After a while I managed to pinpoint the problem: when losing focus for some seconds, it triggers the AFK system. If the time is not enough to advance a zone, it resets the zone count. Which is a problem, since idle games are meant to be played on the background.
I found a bug I think. I rebirthed & got no rebirth points.
I still dont quite understand how shards are obtained?
You seem to get them from certain rare enemies and on stage completion? Maybe?
If I stay on, lets stay stage 16, can I just kill enemies and farm shards?
this is just bad on every level.
Surprised this comment's been downvoted
these comment sections are for sucking the "developers" dicks, not giving actual meaningful criticism. these communities are fucking echo chambers.
How do I get Ascension? I can't figure out where I keep getting it from.
You get it by advancing to the next stage or by killing soul mobs (rare spawn). Just watch your logs, it will tell you when you gained some
There's a glitch where if you idle for a short period of time (less than to reach the next zone) the game sometimes resets your kills to zero.
Yes, its bad when this happens :(
i find it. when you are about to change stage and you come back reset the stage.
There is a typo in soul saying bloot art instead of blood art.
If you unlock the invisible buff, then redistribute the points, you still have the buff.
Your buffs stay with you forever until (Infinity?) . That's a game mechanic
What does the Amulet tab do? I see descriptions of the buffs some enemies have, but nothing else helpful. Do I need to unlock the amulet slot for something?
Amulets give some buffs along the time, max levels, buff slot, better tree tier(max skill points and new traits), Curses buff the enemys but grant you more XP per curse your foes has
I see great potential in this. Keep up the great work!
What does "reset perks" do?
Let you re-distribute yours points on the tree
Thanks
First Strike (Ascension Tier 1, costs 50 Shards): Your first hit against each enemy deals double damage. Great for speeding up progress and also helps you one-shot on higher stage enemies = more XP.
Blacksmithing Experience (Ascension Tier 1, costs 65 Shards): Increases XP gain based on your equipment tier.
Sword T4 (Ascension Tier 1, costs 40 Shards): Boosts your damage and maxlevel (and XP if you’ve unlocked Blacksmithing Experience).
Ring Slot (Ascension Tier 1, costs 150 Shards): The ring itself already gives an XP bonus, and when combined with Blacksmithing Experience, it’s a massive boost. Since all equipment comes at max level, it’s also great for rebirths.
Alright, I’ve shared my tips — now it’s my turn to ask for some info 😄
If anyone’s further along: what can I do about my TREE’s TIER?
I’ve already maxed everything in TIER 1 and I usually end up with around 30 points left over. Has anyone managed to unlock TIER 2 for it yet?
Ou, nice. It's glad to me that people try some strategy. Just a lillte tips: The Next tier unlocks you new perks and some perks will have increased max level(20 -> 40 ...)
Ascension upgrades Tier 2 buy amulet suffix for 1500 that unlocks it
Thanks
It would be nice if there was a stage select, rather than the only control being a stage lock feature.
How do you get your buffs to work? I've got InvisibleT1 but it's bar is just staying at 0
Hover over the i to get info, but you need to reach stage 20 before the buffs get exp
Very hard to read the info when the info window gets cutoff by the buff window, and I'm at stage 24 and have gotten zilch xp
Nice game, biggest problem rn is that when you get up to stage 20 and further, the kill requirements get so large, so it takes ages to get further.
True
Did you make a program to mix and match stuff like "flare" and "nether" to stuff like "claw" and "horn"?
Great game! More actual info in the info page would be nice, though. The exp scaling could also use a little work. (A bit faster)
I think the XP its OK, have some upgrade here and there, but information is really missing in some parts(I don't even know what critical hit make XD)
Ty. Now I'm working on a new update. What about log tab. I don't like it in the current stage and want to rework it completely.
I agree new log entries should start at the top and push old entries down.
the game never loads? stuck on a grey screen forever (im on mac in chrome if it matteres)
That's strange. You can try github link: https://mrenderml.github.io/LevelUp/
On the Tree Section. What is the M button for?
Max Upgrade.
thank you so much for this absolutely amazing game
What is the green button next to progress? What does it do? Does it just rotate?
It allows you to stay on the same progress.
Thanks. By the way: good game. Really my thing to let running while working :D
Whats the benefit?
For exaple: exp farm or souls farm. The effective way when you kill the enemy for one attack
